Weinviertelwarte Röschitz

The Weinviertelwarte on the Mühlberg was designed in the form of a modern wine tank. Once you reach the plateau of the "wine tank" via a kind of spiral staircase, you are offered a wide view of the Schmidatal valley. The view extends as far as the Buschberg in the Leiser mountains, the Pulkau valley, the Retz windmill, the Europawarte at Waitzendorf and the Waldviertel. In fine weather, the peaks of the Schneeberg and the Rax plateau can be seen behind the parish church in Wartberg. Seating areas invite you to relax and unwind in a dreamlike atmosphere.
