Der Turm Leiben Apartments

The "Leiben defense tower" has existed since the 15th century and once belonged to the adjacent Leiben Castle. With the renovation in 2022, two individual and independent vacation apartments were created, which can be connected by a staircase inside to form one large apartment.
The old defense tower has 5 levels, which are divided into the cellar and first basement floor as the "Gewölbe" apartment and the first floor, first floor and attic as the "Warte" apartment and offer space for 4 or 6 people and are individually furnished with original pieces of furniture.

The entire tower is equipped with underfloor heating, which is operated by geothermal energy. The indoor climate is kept at a pleasantly warm level all year round to prevent moisture from forming on the walls. The open fireplaces can be used on particularly cold days.Each apartment has a fully equipped, modern kitchen, its own terrace with garden furniture, barbecue station with gas cartridge and barbecue utensils and an 8000m² garden for communal use with fruit trees and shrubs and plenty of space for games or sunbathing.

The approximately 600-year-old tower from the Middle Ages offers guests the opportunity to spend their vacation in a unique ambience and enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the southern Waldviertel.
