Cancellation conditions:
Cancellation up to 30 days before arrival free of charge. Cancellation up to 2 weeks before arrival 60% of the total price. Cancellation thereafter 80% of the total price.
Leisure activities in the surrounding area:
Our younger guests enjoy having fun at the children's playground at the end of the lane. The "Mitterteich", a natural swimming pond with sunbathing lawn and snack hut, is located on the outskirts of the village in an idyllic and quiet location away from the road.
Hoheneich is surrounded by coniferous forests and romantic ponds. Discover the healthy natural diversity of the Waldviertel on marked cycling and hiking trails. You will find relaxation while hiking in the nearby "Blockheide Nature Park". Experience legendary stone formations, wobbly stones and imposing granite remnants from prehistoric times on various themed trails. From the Blockheide tower, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the diverse landscape.
The popular Sole-Felsen-Bad in Gmünd (4 km) offers bathing fun with 35° warm brine water in the indoor and outdoor pools. A great sauna area and numerous wellness offers promise well-being and relaxation.
At UnterWasserReich Schrems (3 km), you can experience interesting insights into the wetlands/moorland habitat and observe insects and tiny creatures in the aquariums. Feeding the otters in the outdoor area is a special experience. On a walk through the high moor nature park, you will reach the Himmelsleiter viewing platform. From the viewing platform, you can enjoy a fascinating view of the moorland and the wooded surroundings.
