Haus Anton

Haus Anton is a house steeped in history at the foot of the Traisenberg and was built in 1933 from hand-quarried stone and offers space for relaxation from May to October. It has four guest rooms (for up to 9 people), two showers, three toilets, a bathtub, a sauna, a farmhouse parlor with a wood-burning stove and a separate lounge with a fireplace, which can also be used for billiards and table tennis. The paradisiacal garden includes a biotope with a waterfall, a barbecue area and a sun terrace.

Hiking trails to the Gippel and Göller mountains start right outside the door, and the Traisen river is perfect for a dip. The village has a health food store, several direct marketers, a bakery, a Spar supermarket and the nostalgic Traisenbad swimming pool with a 50-metre pool and views of the Göller.

The surrounding area offers a variety of excursion destinations:
- Maho riding farm (2 km): riding lessons and farm experience for children.

- Alpaca hikes at Auszeithof Enk, a lovingly restored farm from the 16th century.

- Herzerl-Mitzi in St. Aegyd: decorate gingerbread and enjoy regional home cooking.

- Eibl Jet Türnitz: 1,007 m long summer toboggan run with action - also open in bad weather.

-Traisenbad Sankt Aegyd: One of the oldest and most atmospheric outdoor pools in the region with a 50-metre pool and views of the Göller - a bathing experience like in times gone by.

- Erlaufsee and Hubertussee: Two idyllic mountain lakes with bathing facilities, playgrounds and walking trails.

- Ötscher-Tormäuer Nature Park and Bürgeralpe Mariazell: Impressive gorges, waterfalls, adventure parks and cable car ride.
