Hotel Spitzerberg

The Hotel Spitzberg, which reopened in June 2020, is situated in an incomparable location directly on the Spitzerberg airfield. The building, whose foundation walls have existed since 1929 and which until a few years ago was primarily used to accommodate pilots and flight students from the Spitzerberg flight school, has now been renovated from the ground up but with great sensitivity to preserving its special character.

Today, this exceptional hotel offers 33 functional, high-quality rooms and 9 spacious apartments with all modern comforts, a modern fitness room and the hotel's own tennis courts for free use. In addition, a well-equipped seminar room with natural daylight is ideal for inspiring conferences and seminars for up to 50 people.

The Icarus restaurant is located directly on the premises, where you can enjoy culinary delights from morning to night and whose hosts also cater for seminar guests.

The Hotel Spitzerberg is therefore not only a special place for aviation enthusiasts, but also offers all guests an inspiring break in a beautifully hilly area between the Little Carpathians and the Alps. The exceptionally warm and dry climate is ideal for sporting activities, the relics of the region dating back to Roman times for cultural interests and the unique thermals of course for the fascination of (gliding) flying - just 40 minutes from the center of Vienna.
