The Wagner family runs a family-run winery in Wösendorf in the Wachau, which is located directly on the Danube cycle path - ideal for cyclists or connoisseurs on a discovery tour. On offer:
- Two comfortable double rooms, each with shower/WC, satellite TV, free WLAN and a choice of Danube view or vineyard view
- A stylish apartment (55 m²) with separate living and sleeping areas, fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, shower, separate WC, satellite TV and sun terrace - recommended for 2-4 people
The morning begins with a rich breakfast, served in the cozy winter garden, in the garden or in the stylishly designed tasting room. The direct view of the Danube ensures a special start to the day.
Guests can sample regional Wachau wines - including Steinfeder®, Federspiel® and Smaragd® - and enjoy homemade products in the hotel's own wine tavern. On request, the host family will guide you through the vineyards and wine cellar and explain the philosophy behind the organic wine-growing principles.
Free parking is available next to the house, and the bus and train station is only about 500 m away. For cyclists, there is a lockable bike garage with e-bike charging facilities.
Located in quiet, rural surroundings between Wösendorf and Joching, the guest house is ideally situated as a starting point for cycling tours along the Danube or hikes through the vineyards of the Wachau - with views of picturesque countryside and historic charm.
