Abschlag train station

Waldviertel alpacas at the Sonnseitnhof farm

A good quarter of an hour's walk from Abschlag station takes you to Sonnseitnhof, the home of the Waldviertel alpacas. The trusting animals are happy about every visit and every stroke. A hike with the curious alpacas is an unforgettable experience and hard to beat in terms of relaxation and joy. In the local shop you can still find many products made from "the fleece of the gods".
