Description
The organic apiary is located in Oberndorf an der Melk in the district of Scheibbs. Harald's interest in nature and bees led him to buy two beehives over 30 years ago. Together with his wife Heidi, he manages around 140 hives. The sites for their bee colonies have been carefully selected with organic beekeeping in mind and are located in the heart of the Mostviertel region, surrounded by orchards with great biodiversity and extensive mixed forests.
The award of the title "Excellent Beekeeping Business" and numerous medals at the "Ab Hof Messe" confirm their efforts, together with their bees, to always bring the best into the jar for their customers.
During a guided tour of the farm, interested visitors can gain an insight into the processes in an organic beekeeping business and learn lots of interesting facts about bees and their added value for people and the environment.
