Boding station

Boding station is located on the route of the scenic Mariazell Railway. The rustic waiting shelter at the stop is equipped with a stop request button so that you can board the next stairway to heaven.

Route information

• The Mariazellerbahn trains to St. Pölten, as well as to Laubenbachmühle and onwards to Maria Zell are served at this stop.
• The nearest bus stop is just a few minutes' walk away. From there, buses run to Grünau and Neubruck as well as to Scheibbs and the Laubenbachmühle.

Ötscher circular hiking trail section

In 2015, the Ötscher circular hiking trail was created as part of the ÖTSCHER:REICH provincial exhibition. A scenic hike that can be planned in stages and does not lose any of its fascination and impressive beauty when completed in sections.

For example, the Höllgraben can be visited in just a few minutes from Boding station. The trail takes you on a legendary hike in the direction of Schlagerboden, where you can stop off at the Tavern Höbarten on the Ötscher circular hiking trail.
