Domäne Baumgartner

Domäne Baumgartner, a family winery dating back to 1725, is the largest winery in Austria with 200 hectares of vineyards. It is known for its ability to produce high quality on a large scale, which is confirmed by awards such as "Best Producer Austria" at the MUNDUS VINI Summer Tasting 2022 and "Austrian Winery of the Year" at the New York International Wine Competition & Berlin International Wine Competition. The winery is "Sustainable Austria" certified and part of the vineyard area is cultivated according to organic guidelines. Siblings Katharina and Lorenz Baumgartner are the 12th generation to continue the winery's long tradition and combine it with innovation. After fermentation, some of the wines are treated to music, which makes the wine creamier and more harmonious. A QR code on the back label can be used to call up the song that matches the wine. Guided tours of the winery followed by a tasting offer exciting insights into the romantic, underground cellar corridors and modern winemaking. The tasting and event room can accommodate up to 120 people. The farm shop is open from Monday to Friday.
