Drösing train station

Train station

Description

In the district of Gänserndorf, Drösing station is located on the Nordbahn line in the market town of the same name. The island platform for passenger traffic is located in the middle of several tracks used for freight traffic and can be reached from the station building via an underpass.

  • Trains along the Nordbahn line to Bernhardsthal and Wr. Neustadt are served.
  • Regional trains via Vienna Floridsdorf to Payerbach-Reichenau also connect here.
  • Buses to Zistersdorf and Mistelbach can be reached from the bus stop directly at the station.

On a journey of discovery

One of the most beautiful cycle routes in Austria runs directly through the market town of Drösing. The Kamp-Thaya-March route follows the three rivers of its name on a scenically varied and idyllic route through the Waldviertel and Weinviertel regions. From Krems to Stopfenreuth, the well-signposted route passes a large number of worthwhile excursion destinations. The stages of the Kamp-Thaya-March route can be planned and designed individually, making the route just as suitable for experienced mountain bikers as it is for leisure cyclists.
