The station Dürnkrut is located on the line of the northern railway at the eastern edge of the Weinviertel along the March. In addition to several tracks equipped for freight traffic, passenger traffic is handled on three platforms, the house platform and an island platform. In addition to loudspeaker announcements, up-to-date timetable notices provide information on ongoing railway operations.
More than 200 car parking spaces enable passengers to transfer comfortably to the train, and over 150 parking spaces for bicycles round off the Park & Ride facilities.
Line connection
- The Dürnkrut stop is located along the Kaiser Ferdinand Nordbahn line.
- Regional trains to Bernhardsthal and Wr. Neustadt are connected here.
- Trains via Vienna Floridsdorf to Payerbach-Reichenau are also served.
- Connecting buses to Matzen in the Weinviertel can be reached from the station forecourt.
Dürnkrut Castle
Dürnkrut Castle is only a 15-minute walk from the station. In addition to the locally established municipal administration, guided tours of the castle and museum are also offered by appointment.
