Bioweingut Gruber Röschitz
WineryThis business is excellent…
Description
The Gruber Röschitz organic winery is located in the northern Weinviertel and is now run by the 3rd generation of the family, siblings Maria, Ewald and Christian. The focus is on the Grüne Veltliner, Riesling, Pinot Noir and St. Laurent varieties.
The Gruber Röschitz organic winery is located on the border to the Waldviertel, where the vines thrive on primary rock soils (granite) near the Manhartsberg. The special climate, with hot days and very cool nights, contributes to the quality of the wines. Viticulture has been organic since 2013. The consistent focus on nature is also reflected in the newly built winery, which opened in April 2024. It offers an exciting insight into the work of the winegrowers. The sustainably built winery combines the historic Weinviertel wine cellar lane with state-of-the-art technology and architecture. From April to November, visitors can take part in a cellar tour followed by a wine tasting every Friday at 3 pm. The wine experience can be booked all year round for groups of 8 people or more. A glass of Weinviertel wine and snacks with a view of the wine cellar lane's vineyards and roofs can be booked in advance.
