Winzerhof Widmayer (Widi-Wein)

Winery

Description

Winzerhof Widmayer in Mauternbach can look back on over a hundred years of history. The farm was first mentioned in a document in 1905 and has been run as a family business ever since. Today, Günter and Stefanie Widmayer run the farm, combining tradition with modern approaches.

Exquisite wines are produced in the wine cellar every year, including varieties such as Grüne Veltliner, Riesling, Muskat Ottonel, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Zweigelt and Pinot Noir. These wines are characterized by different alcohol contents and characteristics, ranging from fragrant and light to full-bodied.

In addition to viticulture, the winery places great value on regional cuisine. Homemade dishes made from fresh, local ingredients complement the range and reflect the philosophy of the establishment.

The Heurigen offers space for up to 300 guests, 140 indoors and 160 outdoors. The sale of wines from the farm is possible by telephone arrangement
