High up in the healthy Waldviertel region, the water is particularly soft - the best conditions for producing high-quality terry towels. An advantage that has been appreciated at Framsohn Frottier GmbH for generations. While many companies move abroad, Framsohn has remained loyal to Klein Pertholz since it was founded in 1908.
"As a family business, we place particular value on our connection with nature and people," emphasizes Managing Director Philipp Schulner. Over the years, Framsohn has grown steadily and is now one of the most successful terry towel manufacturers in Europe. Schulner is convinced that this is not only due to the use of the latest technologies, but also to the location. "The soft primary rock water helps to weave incomparably soft towels and dye them gently. We can filter the water without using any chemicals, so the natural softness is retained." A tour of the factory provides an insight into terry towel production.
