History
Negotiations on the planned extension of the local railway line began as early as 1896. An agreement could only be reached 6 years later, the ground-breaking ceremony for the start of construction took place in 1903. With the construction of the single-track local railway, which runs its route from Stockerau to Absdorf-Hippersdorf, the station Gaisruck was connected to the railway network. Today, the station is served by the Vienna S4 express train.
