Haslau station is located along the Danube cycle path and in the middle of the Donau-Auen National Park route. The journey begins in the nearby spa town of Deutsch-Altenburg and runs via Petronell and Stopfenreuth through the atmospheric areas of the Roman region. Numerous vantage points and power spots mark the paths through the nature-loving landscapes.
Experience history
The ferry landing stage in Haslau offers the opportunity to cross over to the other bank of the Danube and visit the Orth ship mill on the Danube. The 20-metre-long Tschaike, a replica of a Danube ship, is a very special way of capturing the impressive atmosphere.
