Heuriger & Weingut Humer

Weingut & Heuriger Humer is picturesquely situated on the south-eastern slopes and foothills of the Manhartsberg in the south-western Weinviertel, about 50 km from Vienna. The typical soil of this region, consisting of loess, sand and loam, sometimes even primary rock, has a great influence on the wine and gives it its own characteristic typicity. The 21 hectares of vineyards are carefully cultivated and quantity is consciously avoided in order to give the wines an unmistakable expression and character. The enthusiasm for winemaking is shared by father and son, who are passionately involved in the creation of the vintages. The focus is on the vinification of elegant wines that display clarity, structure and finesse, but also reflect the characteristics of the site and vintage.
