Hofstetten-Grünau train station

The Hofstetten-Grünau service station along the Mariazellerbahn line is located in Lower Austria's Mostviertel region. The station, which was revitalized in 2015 and is barrier-free, provides passengers with a waiting room and public sanitary facilities.

• Trains on the Mariazellerbahn line to St. Pölten and Laubenbachmühle station and on to Mariazell are served here as required.

Local history in the station building

The station museum was opened in the historic station building at Hofstetten-Grünau station in 2015 following extensive renovation work. Numerous exhibits on the history of the Mariazell Railway and the Pielach Valley are displayed on a total area of 78m² in the former station building.
