Description

Located on the Northern Railway line, the sprawling reception building at Hohenau station is impressive. In addition to several freight tracks, passenger services are served by a house platform and a central platform, which can be reached safely via an attractively designed underpass. In addition to the publicly accessible toilet facilities, there is also a waiting room that is heated in winter and has a ticket machine for purchasing tickets.

330 parking spaces for cars and mopeds as well as parking spaces for more than 285 bicycles make it easy to change to the train in the directly connected Park & Ride facility.

Line connections

Regional trains along the Nordbahn line to Vienna and Wr. Neustadt as well as to Bernhardsthal and Breclav are served here.
Buses to Rabensburg and Mistelbach can be reached directly from the station.

Museum Hohenau an der March

The museum in Hohenau an der March is a good 15-minute walk from Hohenau train station. In addition to varied and interesting events and special exhibitions such as vernissages and art exhibitions, the museum's permanent exhibition houses exhibits on the history and development of the Kaiser Ferdinand Nordbahn. The building itself is the birthplace of the actor Oskar Sima.
