Description
An organic apiary located in the foothills of the Kamp Valley ("Kamptal" in German). Our bees are on the move around Langenlois, Kammern, Straß and Schiltern - where over 1,500,000 hard-working employees collect nectar and pollinate millions of flowers every day.
In addition to producing our regional organic honey, we are also actively committed to preserving biodiversity, including through the "Strass for Bees" initiative - with a focus on native wild bees and near-natural flowering areas. True to our motto: organic, handmade and creative.
Our products include various layered honeys as well as organic cosmetics and different honey varieties. These are available in the online store, in the self-service farm store (the "Honighaltestelle", right in front of our apiary) and also every Friday at the weekly market in Langenlois. Guided tours of the apiary are available by appointment from April to September. There are also exciting half-day workshops for school classes and children.
