Description

Kröllendorf station is located in the village of the same name in the Amstetten district of Lower Austria. In addition to loudspeaker announcements and public WC facilities on site, the glazed waiting berths also ensure a comfortable stay at the station. A ticket vending machine makes it easy to purchase tickets.

Enchanting views

The panoramic tour on the Panoramahöhenweg and the loop around the mountain church of St. Veit also lead through Kröllendorf. On the approximately one-hour car/motorcycle round trip, visitors are rewarded with numerous vantage points and beautiful views of the Mostviertel region.

For those who prefer to encounter the romantic Mostviertel region on foot, set out along the family-friendly Snow Rose Trail. The circular hiking trail starts in Kematen, but can be freely encountered at any time along the route. The family-friendly trail covers a distance of not quite 10 kilometers and passes through six stations and is full of wine taverns and inns that are happy to treat their guests to culinary delicacies from the region.
