Langenzersdorf train station

Train station

Description

The simple Langenzersdorf station on the single-track Stockerau - Hollabrunn line with connections to the Vienna S3+ S4 rapid transit lines is located in the Weinviertel market town of the same name and stretches north along the Danube between Bisamberg and Vienna.

Get off everything

The light-flooded Museum Langenzersdorf is dedicated to the work of sculptor Anton Hanak. In addition to his works in the museum rooms, we also recommend a walk through the art garden, which is well worth exploring and not only displays more sculptures, but also offers a special ambience and remarkable views.

Excursion destinations starting from the train station in Langenzersdorf could perhaps be discovered during the train ride: the Seeschlacht recreation area. The natural setting makes it a great place to spend a hot day by the water.

Worth mentioning

The rapid transit line is an ÖBB-operated rapid transit system in Vienna and the surrounding area, which is part of the Eastern Region transport network. However, the term "S-Bahn" was not officially used in Vienna for a long time and was first officially used as a term in notices and loudspeaker announcements in 2005/2006 in the course of the timetable change.

Tip: There is a nextbike rental station directly at the station. The bikes are available in Lower Austria from April to mid-November. You can find more information on the website https://www.nextbike.at/de/niederoesterreich/ or in the nextbike app.
