Michelhausen train station

Train station

Description

Michelhausen station is located on the northern edge of the village of the same name in the Lower Austrian district of Tulln. Glazed waiting berths provide a good view of the extensive landscape of the Tullnerfeld, which are located on the platform of the single-track station. A ticket vending machine was installed in the waiting areas and digital train destination displays provide information on current rail traffic.

Space has been created for 36 cars and mopeds in the on-site Park & Ride facility, and more than 30 bicycles find secure parking in the Bike & Ride station.

Leopold Figl Museum

In the other direction, to the north, visitors walk only 10 minutes from the Michelhausen stop to Rust im Tullnerfeld to immerse themselves once again in the history of the region and share in the stirring story of Leopold Figl.
