Pottenbrunn train station

Pottenbrunn station is located near the Lower Austrian capital of St. Pölten in the town of the same name. Rail travelers will find seating on the island platform, which can be reached safely via an underpass, as well as a ticket machine right next to the entrance for convenient ticket purchase. Loudspeaker announcements and timetable notices provide information about the current operation of the trains, and a publicly accessible toilet facility has also been installed.

Over 40 parking spaces for cars and mopeds in the directly connected Park & Ride facility and a further 30 bicycle spaces allow passengers to board and change trains without any worries.

Wasserburg & Grasberg

The baroque moated castle in the middle of the village of Pottenbrunn is just a few minutes' walk from the station. Although the castle can only be visited from the outside, a visit to the historic walls is definitely worthwhile, and they can also serve as a starting point for a short circular hike up the Grasberg with a visit to the Hubertus Chapel and the summit cross.
