Rosenau station

The enchanting reception building at Rosenau station in the Lower Austrian district of Amstetten sets a wonderful accent with its blue details in the natural region around the Sonntagberg. The glazed waiting bunk offers protection from wind and weather during any waiting times. In addition to the publicly accessible sanitary facilities, there is also a ticket machine.

The Sonntagberg Military Museum is just over a quarter of an hour's walk from Rosenau station. More than 700 uniforms, 40 motorcycles and a further 20 military vehicles have been collected on over 2000m2. There are even two tanks and two tracked vehicles on display, along with many other exhibits such as ammunition and photos, which complement the impressive exhibition, which mainly deals with the history of the gendarmerie from 1850 to 2005.
