Schwarzenau train station

The heart of the Waldviertel - this is how the market town of Schwarzenau is described, and Schwarzenau station is located in the middle of it. In addition to equipped waiting areas, rail passengers are also provided with a ticket machine and sanitary facilities.

The on-site Park & Ride facility offers more than 60 parking spaces for cars and mopeds, while the Bike & Ride station has parking spaces for almost 50 bicycles.

Regional express trains to Vienna stop here at Franz-Josefs-Bahnhof.
Trains to Gmünd also stop here.
Connecting buses to Gmünd, Zwettl, Waidhofen an der Thaya and the town center are served at the bus station on the station forecourt.

Schwarzenau Castle
