Description

The heart of the Waldviertel - this is how the market town of Schwarzenau is described, in the middle of which Schwarzenau station is also located. In addition to waiting areas, the train passengers are also provided with a ticket machine and sanitary facilities.

The on-site Park & Ride facility offers more than 60 parking spaces for cars and mopeds, and the Bike & Ride station has parking spaces for almost 50 bicycles.

The Schwarzenau stop is located along the route of the Franz-Josefs-Bahn.

Regional express trains to Vienna and the Franz-Josefs-Bahnhof stop here.
Trains to Gmünd also stop here.
The bus station at the station forecourt serves connecting buses to Gmünd, Zwettl, Waidhofen an der Thaya and into the town centre.
