Description

Sierndorf station is located in the village of the same name near Stockerau in the Lower Austrian district of Korneuburg. The completely barrier-free facility with lifts and underpasses offers accessible sanitary facilities in addition to an installed ticket machine. Glazed waiting booths for passengers protect them from wind and weather.

Almost 40 parking spaces are available for transfer passengers for cars and mopeds in the Park & Ride facility, and space has been created for more than 25 bicycles in the Bike & Ride station.

Route information

The Sierndorf stop is located along the Nordwestbahn line.

  • Trains on the S3 rapid transit line to Hollabrunn and Vienna Meidling are served here.
  • Regional and regional express trains to Payerbach-Reichenau and Vienna Liesing also stop here.
  • Connecting buses to Stockerau can be reached locally.

Sierndorf Castle

The livable cadastral municipality of Sierndorf offers not only quaint settlements, excellent cuisine and extensive landscapes, but also the magnificent Sierndorf Castle.
