spusu can do more than mobile communications - wine also connects people. In 2023, the company presented its first own spusu wine. The passion for viticulture goes back a long way: Andrea and Franz Pichler's fathers already cultivated their own vineyards, where they both worked as children. Today, they regularly deepen their knowledge at the wine academy in Rust. As ambitious wine connoisseurs, they set themselves the goal of producing high-quality wines themselves - with great success. The renowned trade magazine "The Drinks Business" organizes several international wine evaluation competitions every year. At the Spring Tasting of the Global Wine Masters 2024 in London, spusu achieved an exceptional result: out of 245 wines submitted from 14 countries, the first 2022 was awarded the competition's highest accolade in a blind tasting. Just one year later, the jury at the international wine fair Wine Paris 2025 once again recognized the quality of spusu: the first 2022 was not only named the overall winner of the contest, but was also included in the list of the "Top 100 Winemakers 2025". Many other awards followed. This uncompromising commitment to quality is also evident in the team: double European champion and wine champion Mario Vock won the Winegrowing and Winemaking competitions as well as the overall ranking at the EUROPEA Wine Championship 2023 in Silberberg. Veronika Pichler, on the other hand, always looks after the vines with the utmost care, from precise pruning to harvesting. Together, they all contribute to creating wine of the highest quality.
