St. Pölten Porschestraße train station

Train station

Description

The single-track Porschestraße St. Pölten station is located close to the economic area of St. Pölten in the south. The rustic design of the station provides a weatherproof waiting area for the regional trains that run twice an hour along the Traisental and former Leobersdorferbahn lines. The station includes a Park & Ride facility for more than 80 vehicles, and there is also enough space for 20 bicycles in the on-site Bike & Ride.

Connections

The St. Pölten Porschestraße stop serves trains along the Traisentalbahn to Schrambach and Hainfeld. The bus stop for connections to Lilienfeld and the bus terminal to St. Pölten main station is also in the immediate vicinity.

Starting point

Thanks to its location in the economically well-developed south of St. Pölten, numerous specialist stores and furniture stores are within easy walking distance. The VAZ St. Pölten - the event center where concerts, shows, musicals and much more take place - is just a 10-minute walk away.
