Station Brand

In the north of Lower Austria, along the Waldviertelbahn, lies the Brand station in the market town of the same name. After renovation, the reception building shines in new splendour and in the usual idyllic ambience of the line itself. Tickets for the adventure trains of the Waldviertel narrow gauge line can be purchased online or directly on the trains.

Route information

• The Brand on-demand stop is located on the north branch of the Waldviertler Schmalspurbahn.
• When the demand is announced, the nostalgic trains of the Waldviertelbahn to Gmünd and Litschau run here.

Tip: The Brandteiche can be reached on foot in a good quarter of an hour. A natural recreational oasis with the wooded island as the center.
