Station Furth-Palt

Furth-Palt station is located along the Krems railroad line. The historic station building is largely in its original state and has served as a backdrop for the station, which has been a central platform since 2006. Timetable boards and loudspeaker announcements keep passengers well informed about the latest train connections.

Space has been created for 55 cars thanks to the directly connected Park & Ride facility. There is also a suitable parking space for 23 bicycles at the on-site Bike & Ride station.

• Regional trains to Krems an der Donau and Horn as well as to St. Pölten main station are connected
• Bus connections to Paudorf, Krems an der Donau, Höbenbach and Herzogenburg are just a 5-minute walk away

The history

In the past, the reception building, also built in 1889, housed a waiting room and a small staff apartment in addition to the train control room. Further apartments were housed in the upper section of the two-storey building. Today, the building is used exclusively for residential purposes.
