Description

The waiting shelter at Klein Harras station in the village of the same name in Lower Austria's Weinviertel was designed to be picturesque - in the truest sense of the word. Thanks to the seating on site, you can comfortably wait until the next historic train of the K. K. Museum Railway Weinviertel.

Route information

Although the route of the state railroads from Stammersdorf to Dobermannsdorf was closed at the end of 2010, the approximately 9-kilometer section from Bad Pirawarth to Sulz-Nexing could be used for the historic special trips of the "K. K. Museumsbahn Weinviertel" were reopened.

  • The nostalgic trains to Bad Pirawarth and Sulz-Nexing are operated.
  • There is a bus stop not far from the station with connections to Hohenruppersdorf, Gänserndorf, Vienna and Mistelbach.

Swing onto the saddle

The extensive areas around Klein Harras are easy to explore by bike. Numerous cycle routes with many sights lead through and past Klein Harras, such as the tranquil Hohenruppersdorf nature trail. Bicycles can be taken on the nostalgic trains free of charge, ensuring an exciting train journey and a relaxing arrival.
