Station Neubau-Kreuzstetten

The listed reception building at the idyllic Neubau-Kreuzstetten station is located along the Laaer Ostbahn line in the northern Weinviertel district of Mistelbach. The tree-lined station building, in which there are publicly accessible washrooms, houses a sheltered waiting area under the canopy on the platform, in which a ticket machine for buying tickets has been installed.

Thanks to the Park & Ride facility, 20 parking spaces are available for cars and mopeds, and there are more than 45 bicycle parking spaces in the Bike & Ride station.

Route connections

• Regional trains run on the Laaer Ostbahn line to Laa an der Thaya and Vienna Westbahnhof.
• Trains on the Vienna S7 rapid transit line in the direction of Laa an der Thaya and to Vienna Airport station stop here.
• Trains on the Vienna S2 rapid transit line to Mistelbach, Mödling and Laa an der Thaya also stop here.
• Bus connections to Wolkersdorf and Mistelbach are also available.

Oberkreuzstetten wine cellar lane

The Oberkreuzstetten wine cellar lane is around half an hour's walk from Niederkreuzstetten station. After a walk past the Strobl winery, where traditional delicacies and regional wines invite you to take a break, and on through the idyllic village of Kreuzstetten, you reach the next village of Oberkreuzstetten with the romantic Hochreith wine cellar lane, which is home to over 50 vaulted cellars and is occasionally the setting for a wine cellar lane festival.
