The large, multi-lane Obereggendorf station is located on the edge of the cadastral municipality that gives it its name in the Lower Austrian district of Wiener Neustadt-Land. In addition to a ticket machine installed in front of the reception building, visitors to the station also have access to sanitary facilities. A number of parking spaces for cars and bicycles make it easy to get on and off the train.

The Obereggendorf stop is on the Pottendorf line.
- Trains on the S60 line travel to Vienna Central Station and Bruck an der Leitha.
- Trains on the S60 express line to Wiener Neustadt are also served.
- Connecting buses can be reached directly at the station forecourt.
The Nadelburg
A pleasant walk of around half an hour from Obereggendorf station takes you to the Nadelburg Museum in the neighboring municipality of Lichtenwörth. More precisely, it is home to the Nadelburg, a contemporary workers' settlement that was built for the local factory. The privately run museum displays numerous exhibits that convey the origins and development of this unique complex, making it a real treasure trove of museum culture and definitely worth a visit.
