Station Schauboden

Schauboden station is located in the village of the same name in Lower Austria's Mostviertel region. The small waiting shelter at the stop offers rail travelers protection from wind and weather, while the wonderful view of the surrounding region shortens any waiting time for the next train.

Erlauf Gorge

There is no doubt that a hike along the Erlauf Gorge is a real highlight at any time of year and is not long in coming here in Schauboden. In less than 10 minutes on foot, you can reach one of two viewing platforms that have been erected in the beautiful Erlauf Gorge. These protrude around a third of the way over the sweeping Erlauf and are sure to provide an impressive experience and plenty of photo opportunities.
