Station Schauboden

Schauboden station is located in the village of the same name in the Lower Austrian Mostviertel. The small waiting shelter at the stop offers train passengers protection from wind and weather, the beautiful view of the surrounding region shortens any waiting time for the next train.

Erlauf Gorge

Without a doubt, a hike along the Erlauf Gorge is a real highlight at any time of the year, and here, in Schauboden, it doesn't take long to get there. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk to one of the two viewing platforms that have been erected in the beautiful Erlauf Gorge. These rise about a third above the sweeping Erlauf and provide in any case for an impressive experience and many photo moments.
