Station Stillfried

Train station

Description

Stillfried station is located along the Nordbahn line in the district of Gänserndorf in eastern Lower Austria. There are two barrier-free platforms on site with covered waiting areas, and there is also an overpass between the two tracks. The ticket machine offers the opportunity to purchase train tickets around the clock, and up-to-date timetable displays ensure well-informed passengers.

Almost 40 parking spaces for cars and mopeds are available in the adjoining Park & Ride facility, while almost 70 additional parking spaces for bicycles make it easy to transfer to the train.

Route connection

  • The Stillfried train stop is located on the Kaiser Ferdinand Nordbahn line.
  • Regional trains to Bernhardsthal and Wr. Neustadt connect here.
  • Trains via Vienna Floridsdorf to Payerbach-Reichenau are also served.
  • Bus connections directly from the station offer connections to Gänserndorf, Angern and Grub an der March.

Center of primeval times

The Center of Prehistory in Stillfried is less than a 10-minute walk from the station. The museum, which was opened in 1955 and has been repeatedly revitalized since then, has an extensive collection of finds and is constantly working on modernizing and adapting the prehistoric exhibits on display.
