The colorfully designed Ziersdorf station in the market town of the same name in the Lower Austrian district of Hollabrunn is barrier-free throughout and can be reached safely using underpasses and lifts. A glazed waiting area on the central platform as well as sanitary facilities and the ticket machine installed on site round off the convenience offered by the railroad.
Almost 350 parking spaces are available for cars and mopeds changing and boarding the train. Space has been created for more than 85 bicycles in the connected Bike & Ride facility.
Route information
The Ziersdorf stop is located along the route of the Franz-Josef-Bahn.
- Trains stop here on their way to Siegmundsherberg and Schwarzenau in the Waldviertel, as well as to Gmünd and Ceske Velenice.
- Trains to Vienna also stop at Franz-Josef station.
- Buses to Ravelsbach, Horn and Hollabrunn can be reached directly on site.

A large-scale, planned route is the GrossGemeindeRundWanderWeg Ziersdorf, which starts and ends from the main square of the market town. During the approximately 7 hours that the GGRWW takes, one striking viewpoint follows the next for 32 kilometers.
