Description

Blindenmarkt station is located in the middle of the market town of the same name in the district of Melk. A ticket machine has been installed in the waiting room at the unmanned stop, so tickets can be purchased at any time.

With 64 parking spaces in the Park & Ride facility, there are sufficient parking spaces for a convenient transfer to the train. The Bike & Ride station has space for over 60 bicycles.

Route information

Blindenmarkt station is located along the Westbahn line. The tracks of the "Alte and Neue Westbahn" run parallel and on four tracks.

  • Regional express trains to Amstetten and Wien Westbahnhof are served here.
  • Regional trains also run in the direction of St. Valentin and St. Pölten.
  • The Blindenmarkt bus stop with bus connections to Ybbs an der Donau and Amstetten is located not far from the town center.

Recreation within easy reach

The Blindenmarkt Auseen area is around a 20-minute walk from Blindenmarkt train station. The three inviting bathing lakes in the middle of the natural recreation area offer the whole family cooling off and refreshment on hot days with their spacious sunbathing lawns and easy access to the water. On warm autumn days, you can stroll along one of the circular paths and enjoy a meal in one of the surrounding restaurants.
