Train station Etsdorf-Straß

The large reception building with the corner ashlars so typical of Austrian railroad stations welcomes passengers to the Weinviertel region of Lower Austria. An adjacent underpass has been built to ensure safe access to the multi-track stop, regardless of traffic. A ticket machine and timetable displays on site ensure convenient and customer-friendly use of the train.

Almost 40 parking spaces for cars and mopeds are available to rail travelers in the Park & Ride facility, and there is space for more than 65 bicycles in the adjoining Bike & Ride station.

At the beginning of the wine cellar lane in Etsdorf, you will find the Steurer wine tavern, which, with its wonderful terrace and magically furnished cellar, makes it hard to tear yourself away to visit the many other traditional establishments, such as the Holzer wine tavern.
