The large reception building at Göpfritz am Wild station is located on the edge of the market town of the same name in the Lower Austrian district of Zwettl. A heated waiting room, publicly accessible sanitary facilities and a ticket machine on the central platform make for a pleasant stay at the station.
Almost 130 parking spaces for cars and mopeds as well as the fantastic view of the extensive region in the Waldviertel offer a further plus in rail travel comfort in addition to the almost 30 bicycle parking spaces.

The Göpfritz an der Wild stop is located on the single-track section of the Franz-Josef-Bahn.
- Regional express trains run to the Franz-Josef station in Vienna and to Siegmundsherberg.
- Trains to Schwarzenau in the Waldviertel and Gmünd also stop.
- A bus stop with connections to Litschau and the Praterstern to Vienna is located directly on site.
- The Berger bike taxi service on site can transport up to 8 people and their bikes.
