Train station Kirchberg am Wagram

The large reception building at Kirchberg am Wagram station welcomes its guests amidst the idyllic landscapes of Lower Austria's Weinviertel region. In addition to the ticket machines for purchasing tickets, there is also a sanitary area in the waiting rooms.

The spacious Park & Ride facility offers space for almost 390 vehicles. The Bike & Ride station provides secure parking for 95 bicycles.

• Kirchberg am Wagram station is located on the "Absdorf - Hippersdorf - Krems an der Donau" line, this section is also known as the "Kremser Ast", as it is a branch line of the Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Bahn.
• Regional express trains to Krems an der Donau and to Franz-Josefs-Bahnhof in Vienna stop here.
• There is a bus stop in front of the station with connecting buses to Hollabrunn, Großweikersdorf and buses to the center of the market town of Kirchberg am Wagram.

Strolling, walking & snacking

Just a 20-minute walk from Kirchberg am Wagram train station is the market square in the town center. Numerous stores tempt you to take a stroll and the Maria Trost pilgrimage church stands proudly in the background.

If you walk a little further north, you come to the Alchemistenpark, an idyllic park with an enormous variety of edible plants, which can be discovered during an enjoyable walk. Adjacent is the huge playground, which provides variety and adventure for young and old.

Tip: Visit the "Kirchberger Naschmarkt". Every Saturday, you will find culinary delicacies and seasonal treats from regional producers against the backdrop of the municipality's traditional market square.
