Description

The openly designed St. Pölten Traisenpark station is a single-track, unmanned station along the Tullnerfeld line. There is a covered waiting area and a ticket machine on site. The posted timetable and loudspeaker announcements provide information about current connections. The Park & Ride Nord facility, which offers parking for 38 vehicles and 42 bicycles, is located in the immediate vicinity of the station.

Connections

  • Connecting trains on the S40 rapid transit line along the Tullnerfelder Bahn to St. Pölten main station and Tulln stop here.
  • There are local bus connections to Herzogenburg and the St. Pölten main station bus terminal.
  • Traisenpark St. Pölten, the third largest shopping center in Austria, is just a 5-minute walk from the train station. With over 85 stores to choose from, there is something for every shopper.

The recreational area at the Viehofner Seen lakes is just as easy to reach from St. Pölten Traisenpark station. The Seedose restaurant offers an original menu as well as a fantastic setting right on the lake.

The Ratzersdorf bathing lake is just a few minutes' walk away. In addition to the swimming area and children's playground, a mini golf course and the NXP Lasertron Center also offer a variety of leisure activities.
