VOLKSKULTUR - Handwerk der Regionen

The arts and crafts store of Volkskultur Niederösterreich is a member of the Kuratorium Österreichisches Heimatwerk and sees itself as a platform for small craft businesses from Lower Austria and the European regions.

From Austria come hand-forged candlesticks from the Eisenstraße region, twisted buttons by Robert Fiedler from Weitra, reverse glass painting from Sandl, the finest linen from the Vieböck weaving mill in the Mühlviertel, silhouettes by Michaela Loidolt from Zellerndorf, hand-printed Ausseer silks by Mautner, enamel tableware by Riess and much more.

Dirndls from Tostmann Trachten, traditional costume fabrics, dirndl packages from Stapf and traditional blouses from Wallmann are also on offer, as are delicacies from Hellerschmidt and Bailoni.
