Weinkultur Preiß

The Preiß wine and fruit-growing business is an innovative family business with more than 100 years of history. The family originally came from the Wachau region and acquired the estate in Theyern in 1913. The two branches of fruit growing and winegrowing emerged from the mixed farming. The farm is known for its single-variety fruit juices, where new and sometimes very old varieties are constantly being tried out. The bridge between fruit growing and viticulture is created with the sparkling Pet Nat "Die Apfelkönigin", a sparkling wine made using the old production method from the juice of the Baya Marisa apple variety. The winery produces a wide range of wines from the best vineyards around Theyern, from the light Grüne Veltliner "Flo" to the DAC vineyard wines and the meditation wine "Philosoph", which is bottled exclusively in MAGNUM bottles. Three generations of the Preiß family are happy to welcome their guests at the farm shop, as well as for cellar tours and tastings (by appointment).

The juices are also AMA Genussregion certified.

2025 wines are the first to be certified organic.
