Weinbau & Heuriger Schauhuber

The family business Weinbau & Heuriger Ernst Schauhuber is picturesquely situated on the edge of the Wagram in Stetteldorf am Wagram and offers guests a fantastic view over the Tullnerfeld. Classic and modern varieties such as Grüner Veltliner, Welschriesling, Gelber Muskateller, Chardonnay, Rivaner, Sämling 88, Zweigelt and St. Laurent thrive on around 2.5 hectares of vineyards. Around 150 guests can be seated in the cosy wine tavern, with a further 100 seats in the courtyard in summer.

The business developed from a cattle barn converted into a wine cellar and wine tavern in 2010 and opened in 2013. Tradition is a top priority - gentle hand-picking, natural cultivation in loess and clay soils, modern cellar technology - while the authentic Wagram flavours remain in the foreground. Always open on seasonal dates, the Heuriger offers classic regional specialities and excellent wines directly from the farm - an inviting combination of tradition, quality and family hospitality.
