Weinbau Pichler

Our wine and fruit-growing business is located in the beautiful town of Krems an der Donau. The foundation stone was laid by Erich Pichler Sr. in 1984 with the purchase of the first vineyard and cellar. Anna and Erich Pichler Jr. steadily expanded the business until the summer of 2022 and is currently managed by Stefan Pichler, the third generation, with the support of the entire family.
Our vineyards are located around the town of Krems and reflect the variety and diversity of the soils. The eastern, massive loess soils to the primary rock soils bordering the Wachau to the west and the location of our apricot orchards at the foot of the Göttweiger Berg allow us to obtain the best qualities from the best sites.
In order to achieve our goal of producing the best wines and fruit, we try to work as close to nature and as sustainably as possible. The quality that nature provides can at best only be preserved in the cellar.
The tasting room in the historic "winegrowers' district" of Weinzierl serves to present the products in a cozy, modern atmosphere. Customers can pick up their orders here and taste our wines before buying them. In addition, events and tastings are held on the premises throughout the year. The tasting room is open every Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. or by telephone appointment for farm-gate sales.
