The picturesque village of Klein-Engersdorf, situated at the foot of the Bisamberg and in close proximity to the city of Vienna, is home to the Lackner family's renowned winery and Buschenschank (typical tavern). Since 1959, home-grown wines have been produced here and guests have been served in a charming Buschenschank (typical tavern). Since 1993, the vineyards have been expanded to an impressive 5.5 hectares, mainly through new plantings on the sun-drenched south-facing slopes around the village. The vineyards are cultivated with respect for nature and organically fertilized to produce high-quality grapes. This is achieved by thinning out and thus reducing the harvest. The combination of modern technologies and gentle processing ensures that the full aroma of the grape fruit is preserved until bottling. Steel tanks, oak and barrique barrels are used for storage.
