Weinburg train station

Train station

Description

The Weinburg train station is located in the Lower Austrian Mostviertel region. The station is on the route of the Mariazellerbahn and has a nostalgically designed waiting shelter, which offers seating and protection from the wind and weather. Over 15 parking spaces for cars and mopeds and six parking spaces for bicycles ensure a comfortable transfer to the trains of the famous narrow-gauge railroad.

Route information

  • Trains along the Mariazellerbahn line run on request to St. Pölten, as well as to Laubenbachmühle station and on to Mariazell.

Pielach Valley cycle path

The train station is located along the route of the Pielachtal Cycle Path, which is probably the most impressive way to explore the rapturous region with its extensive natural landscapes and numerous Taverns. The family-friendly cycle path leads visitors from Melk to Dobersnigg along the Pielach river through the picturesque Mostviertel region.

Austria's largest climbing center

Sports enthusiasts and visitors with a head for heights will get their money's worth at Austria's largest climbing center, just a 15-minute walk from Weinburg train station. In addition to therapy and adventure climbing, competitions are also held on the 17-metre-high climbing wall, and a bouldering area has also been set up. In the adventure area of the unique climbing center you will find a via ferrata and water elements.
