The Freudhofmaier winery, a family business that has been cultivating vines in harmony with nature since 1785, has a long history. For seven generations, the vine has been a faithful companion, shaping people's lives and activities. The wine, which healed, nourished, comforted and invigorated the senses, is a testimony to the successful combination of tradition, closeness to nature, progress and modern principles. The high quality of the vines is a thank you for these efforts. A special highlight is the 'Heiligenkeller der Zünfte', a 350-year-old manorial cellar from the county of Hoyos. The vault, which weighs several tons, protects the beautiful oval wine barrels. Artfully carved figures of saints representing certain guilds adorn the oval wooden barrels, giving the cellar its name and a very special atmosphere.
